Beyond Love

Today again, while I was watching 'Truth Love Cash' on Channel V, I encountered an interesting situation. It interested me more as it gave me an opportunity to think about the material needs of the world and love. In contemporary society it is important to maintain the balance. But the challenge lies in finding the right balancing point and as I saw in the program most of us miss the point. I believe that a thought full write-up will help me, 'the insatiable' to find the balance/satisfaction.

Back to the program, there is a guy Vineet, he is competing with his girlfriend. His girl friend is Muslim and their relationship is not acceptable to their families. When they started playing, Vineet became serious player and got involved seriously while his girlfriend took it lightly. Vineet is an egoist, he takes things seriously when his competitors mock or win. While his girl was trying more to be his sub, this was something that was holding Vineet. The pair fell into a situation where Vineet had two choices either to dump his girlfriend and pair up with another girl to play forth or leave the show.

He chooses the first option and dumps his girlfriend. She was shocked, he tried to explain that it is for the game and we will still be the same after the game but she didn’t look convinced. Anyway, Vineet gets another girl to play, he again starts winning, and then after a few games they again come to similar situation. But this time the new partner of Vineet gets a chance to dump Vineet and choose another guy to play or leave the game her self. It looked obvious that she will dump Vineet as he was not her real life Boyfriend.

Surprisingly, Vineet's partner decides to leave the show and let Vineet play further. Although Vineet won, he looked embarrassed as he ditched his real life girl for the just a game. Now he is getting a chance to win but in charity on some one's grace. The host of show said, "So another meaning of love is SACRIFICE".

I liked the remark as it was said to some one who ditched his girl's happiness to win but here was some one who scarified his win and money to a stranger. This stranger while leaving the show said, "There are relationships other than Love, but every relationship thrives on sacrifices".

I still don’t understand why she chose to quit the show and give the stranger a chance to win. But one thing I surely know now that winning is not all that you wish from life.

Beyond winning lies,
The Love…

NEXT Episode...

When Vineet's new partner quited the show giving all her prize money to Vineet. Vineet got another chance to buy back his girl friend. Interestingly, his real life girl happily rejoined the show as Vineet's new partner. Although their chemistry doesn't show the same bond but they pretended to look the same. Blood started pumping into my (the Insatiable) mind...

Why does it happen, how can she come back to the show after a humiliating departure. You might think that I am taking it too seriously, or it was preplanned or anything beyond my purview. But my pumped mind is forced to believe that - Modernism is shifting the balance towards the MATERIALISM.

But do we know?
Beyond Horizon Lies...The Haven !!!

i don't feel there is Sacrifice of love, they both came for game show, his girlfriend show realized.

Rather we can say they were not committed with there relation. so it happened...what other girl did, since she was not committed she let him play...!

I agree to some extent with Shoib....
Yassir @ u r more emotional than being realistic my dear as u have been in love...it might be the reason.
Coming back to the point...I dont believe TLC's character..they r all bull shit characters full of inhuman intentions and very materialistic. They have nothing to do with love and ditching.
In two inverted comas "everything is scripted"

I agree Salman, But for me TLC is just a medium or a subject to express my views of the world we inhabit.
